I have 12 years' experience as an IT Business Analyst, 9 of those engaging with external clients across Australia and New Zealand. Passionate about customer-centric outcomes and developing strong professional relationships, my aim is to create an intuitive, seamless experience from end to end.

I started VABA to find the joy again. I want to work with people who are changing the world with cool and innovative ideas and technology, and help them find success.
In my spare time I enjoy craft beer, knitting, and spending time with my dog.
Technical businesses
If you're an app or web developer, or have an idea for an exciting new technical project, you'll need a clear set of processes and software requirements.

Defining requirements is like laying the foundation for a house. Without them, you're likely to experience significant rework, spending time and money you don't have fixing problems that could have been avoided.

I use process mapping to reveal hidden detail which can be transferred into requirements along with usability needs. I take UX into account for both system users and end users to make the system easy and pleasant to use, and I finish the project by conducting user testing to perfect the finished product before release.
Non-technical businesses
Those outside the IT space can still benefit from systems analysis; you may use software for HR and payroll, invoicing, time recording, project and task management, communication, record-keeping and inventory, and more. Are you getting the most out of the systems you use? Are you as efficient as you can be? Do you have appropriate security, user access, and approval hierarchies in place?

Having clear, streamlined processes can help you run day-to-day tasks more efficiently, and prepare you for the unexpected. How easily could you hand over to someone new if needed? How scalable is your business in case of growth? What if you lost your best employee? Are you wasting money on manual tasks that could be automated?
